Nonna Lina’s Book of Summer
For the Garden and Food Lovers amongst you: We will publish Nonna’s favorite summer recipes, and stories from her garden and the Lagoon islands. In the 1950s and 1960s, Lina taught the chefs at the grandi alberghi on Riva degli Schiavoni to prepare historical Venetian recipes. Lina cooked for politicians, ambassadors and two regular guests at her private table, the future popes Giovanni XXIII and Giovanni Paolo I, during their time as patriarchs of Venice. We believe it’s time to share her recipes and garden cuisine!

Nonna has been a chef with a deep love for Venetian garden and spice food all of her life, specializing in seasonal Lagoon dishes flavored with herbs, blossoms and spices.
